Hope you all had a good Christmas season! Here's a couple of shots from what I got to see over Christmas Day at Whidbey Island:
So this was basically my sister's mother-in-law's cabin up in this island off of Mukilteo (which is North of Seattle), and the cabin was accompanied by this incredible view that was only a walk away from where the land and lake meets. And boy is this an ideal place to get some great photos taken!
Since my mom was unable to walk for very far due to a recent surgery, she was unable to walk down there. So I took the liberty of going down to that area so that she could see the area. Now let me tell you, it's hard to find any other place quite like it: there's a walking trail that winds down from the houses to the beach, and you're surrounded by green all over in the walk down. It's really a sight when you're there in the sun. Even though this was winter, we Seattlites were still lucky enough to see some sun to make the most out of his view. It was really unlike any other Christmas I've celebrated. Most Christmases for me growing up was just me and my sister playing with our new toys while Dad watched TV and Mom prepared Christmas dinner- not a very convenient formula when the kids are grown up! So this was a wonderful change of tradition for us. Hope your Christmas was good in the same way!
